Paul Wesley Reveals Who Convinced Him to Join Twitter

Oh, hello there, gorgeous. We love how Paul gives his full attention to the question.
March 14, 2011 marked an important occasion for technology and the world. One month ago was the day Paul Wesley (Stefan) finally succumbed to the allure of Twitter. (And the day that we, his loyal fans, rejoiced!)

But obviously, nobody goes from technophobe to techno-geek without a little nudge (also known as peer pressure), and given that almost all of Paul’s co-stars are already aboard the Twitter-ship, we’re pretty positive somebody coerced him into it. In an attempt to answer the big question “Who convinced Paul Wesley to join Twitter?” TV Squad chatted with (read: interrogated) nine members of The Vampire Diaries cast. But it was worth it, for we finally have an answer!

Almost everybody agreed that they’d had some influence on Paul’s decision (except for Ian Somerhalder, who said it must have been the Dalai Lama’s doing, and Kat Graham, who credited it to aliens invading his brain), but the big prize went to Matt Davis (Alaric), who tweets under the pseudonym Ernesto Riley. Matt’s alter-ego is super persuasive, apparently.

The cast also divulged who they follow on Twitter (you’d be surprised) and who their next conquest is. (Big ole’ hint: He’s the last main character who isn’t on Twitter.)  We can’t wait for the day we see @StevenRMcQueen RT’ing @NinaDobrev. #Itwillhappen.

Elena and Bonnie slip away from their dates for quick chat at the 60s Decade Dance.
While some characters are for a fact biting the dust before season’s end, a new post onSpoilerTV announcing three brand spankin’ new castings makes us hopeful another slew of eclectic, eccentric characters will be taking their places. We’re excited, obvi, but it’s all very bittersweet. What can we say? We get attached.

So far, the three actors who have been added toTVD’s ever-changing roster are as follows: Mark Wilson (The Faith Healer’s Manual for the Slightly Inebriated), Gabe Begneaud (The Chameleon) and Andrea Moore (Done in One). Yeah, so we don’t know any of those movies, either. But sometimes new and unknown is good, right? Adds a new perspective, we think.

We don’t have any deets on the newbies’ specific roles yet, but we’ll keep you posted!

Sneak Peek Photos: Damon and Bonnie Get Close in Season 2, Episode 18: "The Last Dance"

Air date: April 14, 2011

When the Mystic Falls crew hits up the 1960s Decade Dance, Alaric and Damon go along as chaperones. Instead of preventing students from spiking the punch, their goal is to protect Elena. Damon also takes the chance to share cozy moments with both Bonnie and Elena, despite Jeremy and Stefan’s presence. Interestingly, only Matt and Caroline manage to look like a perfect couple.

Nina Dobrev: Don't Trust Katherine

Someone or something has crossed Katherine. Wonder if she’ll handle that well?
We want to like Katherine, we really do. The vamp’s got a couple of good things going for her: She was clearly a catch back in 1400-something, she’s insanely intelligent and unbelievably powerful, and she makes for a pretty good Elena stand-in when necessary.

Plus, she tells Damon and Stefan she’s “reconsidering her alliance” in a new sneak peek video. What’s that? Katherine wants to fight the good fight now? As promising as that might sound, Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) warns us not to take anything the wicked vixen says at face value.

“If Katherine’s ever working with Elena, or seemingly with Elena, there must be an alternate motive,” Nina tells Zap2It. “She’s got a master plan and if she’s helping Elena, it’s to service that master plan somehow.”

While her true agenda remains to be seen, we can bet it doesn’t involve saving her doppelganger....but we’re holding out hope it does involve killing Klaus!

Glee Spoilers! Who's Going to the Big Apple?

We can’t wait to see what the final six episodes of the Glee season have in store for us, and thankfully E! Online has offered us a glimpse of what to expect. If you don’t want to be spoiled, now’s your chance to take a peek at our other fabulous content.

Still here? Good! Will Kurt (Chris Colfer) bring Blaine (Darren Criss) to New York for Nationals? Hell yes! Maybe. Kristin Dos Santos reports that while Blaine won’t transfer to McKinley before Season 3, he probably will accompany Kurt to New York for the big competition.

Elsewhere, Glee is looking to cast a blonde girl and an African-America boy for a ‘70s flashback sequence. Will we see Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) cutting a rug in high school? Considering he’s only supposed to be in his 30s, probably not.

Finally, Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Cory Monteith) will have some cute moments while planning prom. As for Karofsky, he’ll realize that he was “born this way” in “Born This Way.”
