We’ve seen her flex her comedy chops on “Saturday Night Live” to the delight of teenage boys everywhere, but now Katy Perry is taking her talents to “How I Met Your Mother,” as seen in this two preview clips from guest appearance.The “California Gurls” singer plays yet another love interest for Neil Patrick Harris‘ character Barney, joining the ranks of previous celebrity guest stars includingBritney Spears and Rachel Bilson.
The clips are unusually awkward to watch considering “HIMYM” apparently isn’t shot in front of a live studio audience and the laugh track is yet to be added, but Perry appears to be as funny as ever showcasing her signature bubbly personality.
Perry’s episode of “How I Met Your Mother” airs this Monday, February 7 on CBS.
