Lady Gaga is making a difference and doing what she can to help those affected by the 8.9-magnitude earthquake that struck Japan on Friday, March 11th. The Born This Way singer tweeted on Friday that she designed a special wristband and all the proceeds will be going to those in need.
“I Designed a Japan Prayer Bracelet. Buy It/Donate here and ALL proceeds will go to Tsunami Relief Efforts. Go Monsters,” she tweeted.
Gaga passed a link on to her millions of followers with more information about the special bracelet with the words “we pray for Japan” on it. “Little Monsters, show your support for Japan with this ‘We Pray for Japan’ wristband! Choose your price to add an additional donation with your wristband,” the description says on the website. “All proceeds go directly to Japan relief efforts.” You can purchase a wristband by clicking here.
Along with Gaga, other celebrities are showing their love and support for those affected by the earthquake. Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Adam Lambert, Diddy and others sent their prayers via Twitter. Britney Spears also reached out by tweeting, “So tragic. My heart is breaking for Japan.”
Kim Kardashian wrote, “Just heard about the huge earthquake and tsunami in Japan. My prayers are with everyone in Japan. Seeing all of this footage in Japan is devastating! Please help the people of Japan by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.”
What do you think of Lady Gaga’s bracelet? Will you buy one to support?
A great gesture by Lady Gaga, Japan really needs our help. They keep on getting hit by aftershocks and the nuclear reactor is heading towards a meltdown.
ReplyDeleteMay all our prayers be with these disaster struck people. May god help them.
I purchased several of these LadyGaga Bracelets, you all should do the same.
