Would you pay $32 000 to hear what Snooki has got to say?
We think we might just have pin-pointed the one single reason society doesn't work! Rutgers University, located in the infamous Jersey Shore recently paid reality star Snooki a whopping $32, 000 to come guest speak at the university. And as if it wasn't bad enough that a university is spending their school funds on her, they are actually paying Nobel Prize-winning author Toni Morrisson $2000 less for his scheduled speech at the university in May.
The event, called "Inside the Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi Studio" was held this Thursday and in front of a crowd of 1000 students, Snooki talked about fist pumping, her signature hair pouf and the "GTL" lifestyle she lives out on reality TV. She rounded the whole thing up with her self-devised advice to the students, "Study hard, but party harder".
Just... Wow. Rutgers University sounds like it is in desperate need of a new board of staff!
