GLEE

10. THE EAGLES
Who would sing: Sam (Chord Overstreet)
The song we’d choose: “Take It to the Limit”
Why: What does a band have to do to get on Glee? Because having the all-time biggest-selling album in U.S. history isn’t quite cutting it for The Eagles. (As of last year, the band’s best-of was tied with Thriller, which isn’t bad company.) We don’t blame you if you’re a bit sick of their ubiquitous “Hotel California,” but we’d love to hear Sam and his guitar take on one of their other hits. (And if the Glee guys end up sitting on stools, Eagles-style, performing “Hotel California” together... well, that might actually be kinda awesome, too.)

9. RADIOHEAD
Who woud sing: The Warblers
The song we’d choose: “Creep”
Why: Though never really a Top 40-type band, Radiohead has still maintained an incredibly devoted following with its groundbreaking brand of experimental rock. We’re smitten with their lovely “Karma Police,” but early hit “Creep” — about someone who doesn’t “belong here” — seems too perfect for Glee to pass up.

8. BLACK EYED PEAS
Who would sing: Artie (Kevin McHale)
The song we’d choose: “I Gotta Feeling”
Why: Depending on whether you love them or you find them incredibly annoying, there’s no denying that the Black Eyed Peas keep cranking out hits. “Where Is the Love?” wouldn’t be a bad choice for the show, with its Justin Timberlake-delivered hook, but we think “I Gotta Feeling” is more Glee-appropriate, seeing as how it’s less about saving the planet and more about doing things you’ll probably regret in the morning.

7. GARTH BROOKSWho would sing: Puck (Mark Salling)
The song we’d choose: “Friends in Low Places”
Why: Sure, it’d be fun to have, say, a Taylor Swift song on the show. But if we were to have our countrified druthers, why not throw some Garth into the mix? After his “Big-Ass Heart” performance, we have no doubt Puck’s voice would be up to the task. Plus, Puck probably knows a thing or two about emptying a bottle or crashing a pickup truck.

6. ABBA
Who would sing: Quinn (Dianna Agron)
The song we’d choose: “Mamma Mia”
Why: It might be said that a little ABBA goes a long way, but we figure one song by the enormously popular ‘70s band can’t hurt, right? And “Mamma Mia” — with its lyrics about giving someone another chance — would feel appropriate for any number of Glee’s revolving-door relationships!

5. FRANK SINATRA
Who would sing: Duet with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Blaine (Darren Criss)
The song we’d choose: “The Way You Look Tonight”
Why: Granted, the swing era sounds a little dated and borderline cheesy these days, but it’s hard to believe we haven’t heard a number from Ol’ Blue Eyes yet. The reflective “My Way” would fit in perfectly with the show’s themes, but our top pick is the wedding classic “The Way You Look Tonight.” (We know — we’re total softies. Don’t judge!) How awesome would this be as a duet between Kurt and Blaine! We’re starting to tear up just thinking about it.

4. CHER
Who would sing: Duet with Santana (Naya Rivera) and Brittany (Heather Morris)
The song we’d choose: “If I Could Turn Back Time”
Why: Frankly, Glee covering Cher would be a match made in a very fabulous heaven. After hearing Santana and Brittany contribute to that lovely, moving version of “Landslide,” we think they’d be the perfect match for this wistful-but-rocking number. But let’s hope they don’t also mimic Cher’s mid-’80s wardrobe selections.

3. THE BEACH BOYS
Who would sing: Duet with Rachel (Lea Michele) and Finn (Cory Monteith)
The song we’d choose: “God Only Knows”
Why: The Beach Boys could harmonize like nobody’s business, making it all the more surprising that Glee hasn’t covered them yet. There might not be a ton of song options from them, considering it’s hard to picture kids in snowy Ohio singing a tune called “Surfin’ Safari.” But “God Only Knows” would be great for Finchel: Rachel and Finn are messes without each other!

2. MARIAH CAREY
Who would sing: Mercedes (Amber Riley)
The song we’d choose: “Hero”
Why: How has Glee not covered Mariah yet? One of the real-life diva’s hits would provide the perfect means for one of New Directions’ many divas-in-training to show off their pipes. We love her uptempo numbers, but a ballad like “Hero” feels tailor-made for the show, especially with lyrics about how a “hero lies in you.” Isn’t that basically this show’s mantra in a nutshell?

1. ELVIS PRESLEY
Who would sing: Duet with Emma (Jayma Mays) and Schue (Matthew Morrison)
The song we’d choose: “Suspicious Minds”
Why: We’ve now reached the most egregious oversight in the Glee canon: Where’s The King been all this time? He has a litany of moving songs about love, but our top pick is “Suspicious Minds,” with its more complicated themes. (At least they’re more complicated than a line like, say, “I’m proud to say that she’s my honeybunch; I’m in love — I’m all shook up.”)
