Poor Damon. He walks in as Elena and Stefan share one of their usual romantic moments. If he needs to, he’s welcome to cry on our shoulder.
The Vampire Diaries returns to our small screens in exactly one week. And if that isn’t exciting enough, we’ve got more goodies to share. TVD producer Julie Plec spilled spoilers aplenty to Entertainment Weekly about the April 14 episode, “The Last Dance,” and we’re bringing them straight to you. (Along with some super cool pics, and if you haven’t already peeped them, you are so missing out. Do it!)
So, what can we expect from “The Last Dance”?
Elena will be super nervous. And rightfully so, are we right? Girl is kinda the reason big n’ bad Klaus is coming, anyway. ''Everything is tense for Elena,” Plec says. “...While she's trying to put on a strong face for it, she's scared, and Stefan's scared for her. It's a big night for them.''
Speaking of big stuff, Damon and Elena share a dance!
…But Katherine is nowhere to be found. Which makes sense since it’d be kinda weird to see two of the same person running around in different outfits.
Caroline’s still confused about Matt now that he knows she’s a vampire. Matt’s not handling it well. At all. (Oh, and bt dubs, the couple will show up to the dance as Jackie O and JFK. Creative!)
Elena’s neck = naked. Yup, her vervain necklace is MIA during this ep. Ruh roh! But Julie Plec says we’ll find out what’s up with the missing jewels during the April 7 episode. Just another reason next week can’t come soon enough.
Tensions will run high for Bonnie and Jeremy. ''[Jeremy’s] legitimately afraid for her life,” Plec says. Well, we would be too if our main squeeze was the only person (er, witch) around who knew how to kill Klaus. Plec also dishes they’re both going to go through “a lot emotionally.” But poor Jeremy will be stuck right in the middle: He doesn’t want his sister to get hurt, but doesn’t want his girlfriend to get hurt saving his sister. Talk about a conundrum!
Despite al the dramz, the girls will still look smokin’ hot. ”As tends to happen in Mystic Falls, in spite of death and chaos and danger looming around every corner, Bonnie and Elena have had to get dressed up and go to the dance. And while they look very, very sassy in their microminis,'' Plec says. ''they are still very much aware of the danger that's there.'' But as they say, all’s well that ends in microminis, right?
